Disposition Management Guide

Disposition Management Guide

Set up call outcomes that convert leads, book callbacks and score prospects on their own.

Dispositions are the small decisions an agent makes at the end of every call, and in ICTCRM they are where the automation lives. Set them up well and the CRM largely runs itself.

What a disposition can do

A disposition is more than a label. Any one of them can convert a lead into a deal or contact, create a callback task, mark a record junk, or adjust the lead score, all with a full audit trail so you can see later exactly what happened and who set it.

Make the agent choose one

Require a disposition and a comment after every call. It takes the agent two seconds and it is the single most valuable habit in a contact center. Without it, your reporting is guesswork. With it, every call has a reason attached.

Wire in the automation

For each disposition, decide what it should trigger. "Interested" might convert the lead and add points. "Callback" schedules a task. "Wrong number" adds to DNC. "Not interested" subtracts points and closes the lead. Set these once and every agent's clicks start feeding your pipeline and your scores.

Why this matters

Most CRMs make you enter outcomes and then separately update the deal, the task and the score. Here one click does all of it, at the moment the agent is closest to the conversation. That is less admin and far better data.
